The «Room of Silence» at Unitobler has been open since September 2021. After a short address by Prof. Dr. Silvia Schroer, we will be looking back at how the idea for this project developed and eventually turned into reality. We will also be taking you on a tour of the room and then celebrate its opening with an Apéro. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
When: March 7, 2022, 6:15pm
Where: Unitobler, Lerchenweg 36, Room F021
The «Room of Silence» facilitates the compatibility of study and faith or worldview. It is a place for meditation, prayer and silence. The «Room of Silence» is intended to provide an occasion for members of different faiths and worldviews to meet. It serves to promote intercultural, interdenominational and interreligious exchange as well as mutual understanding and tolerance in everyday university life.
The starting point of the dialogue project is the dynamic (further) development of the symbolic design and the use of the «Room of Silence» in cooperation with the users. To this end, a public event is held at least once a year. More information about the Room of Silence can be found here.
